Solite Icons0.1

Installation

Add Solite Icons to your project from GitHub.

Install the package

Choose the package manager your project already uses.

npm install github:Nikola-Limpet/solite-icons#main

Solite Icons is not yet published to npm. Installing with npm install solite-icons alone will not work until an npm release exists.

The repository includes built JavaScript and types. Your application does not need to compile the icon library.

Render your first icon

In an existing React project:

import { CoffeeIcon } from "solite-icons";

export function CoffeeLabel() {
  return (
    <span className="inline-flex items-center gap-2">
      <CoffeeIcon size={20} />
      Coffee
    </span>
  );
}

React 18.2 and 19 are supported. Install React separately if your project does not already have it. TypeScript projects also need their usual @types/react dependency.

Pin a version

Keep the generated lockfile. To install an exact revision, replace main with a full commit SHA:

npm install github:Nikola-Limpet/solite-icons#6034053bcbd847da27ddbb81f38c71c59296c459

That commit is the initial 229-icon package release. A pinned revision stays unchanged when the repository receives new commits.

Use without React

Copy the standalone files from node_modules/solite-icons/svg/ to your public assets directory. See SVG usage for examples. React is an optional peer dependency, so SVG-only projects do not need to install it.
